Fairfax people (1)

The strength of the Fairfax Battalia is in the enthusiasm and commitment of its members - men and women and  of all ages.  We are serious about re-enactment - but we have a lot of fun doing it.  The following set of pages (1 - 4) show a number of our members at the Commandery Museum, Worcester in  April 2002.  We portrayed the Worcester Trained Bands and  the Wylde household in 1642 and the New Model Army of 1646.  Page 5 shows images from the May 2003 event at Bolsover Castle, where we portrayed the early stages of the Leveller revolt in 1647.  Page 6 shows images from the December 2004 living historya at Oakwell castle.
