The strength of the Fairfax
Battalia is in the enthusiasm and commitment of its members - men and women
and of all ages. We are
serious about re-enactment - but we have a lot of fun doing it. The
following set of pages (1 - 4) show a number of our members at the Commandery Museum,
Worcester in April 2002. We portrayed the Worcester Trained Bands
and the Wylde household in 1642 and the New Model Army of 1646. Page
5 shows images from the May 2003 event at Bolsover Castle, where we portrayed
the early stages of the Leveller revolt in 1647. Page 6 shows images from the December 2004 living historya at Oakwell castle. (photos copyright Susanne
