The Fairfax Battalia presented two 20 minute long drill displays during the day, representing a Civil War company of over 70 men.  The display showed the audience how the troops were organised and trained, and then how this was put into practice in battle tactics.

The Battalia then took the field for two drill displays

We comprised two divisons of musket and a division of pike to give a 20 minute display of postures and tactics

The drummers performed a vital role in transmitting orders in the heat and noise of battle
