home of the Fairfax Battalia |

The Commandery Museum in Worcester
is the only museum in the country dedicated to the English Civil War. It is now the main
base of the Fairfax Battalia. We will be carrying out a regular
series of events here, as well as holding training sessions and participating in
other events
organised by the Museum.
A feature of the events is to create scenarios in the rooms within the Commandery, so helping to bring this magnificent building to life. |

Mars - his Triumph was a drill display set to music and performed in October 1638 by the Gentlemen of the Artillery Garden in Merchant Taylors Hall in London.
On the weekend of 14 / 15 December the Fairfax Battalia will perform an edited version of the display in aid of the Acorns Children's Hospice Trust. For further details see updates on this web site or in the local press.
